As part of the project “Empowering young people to strengthen social cohesion and build trust”, last Friday the Jajce Center for Education and Socialization organized two interactive events on the school grounds in Divičani, bringing together young people from Elementary School “Braća Jezerčić”, Elementary School “Jajce” Kruščica, Elementary School September 13, Berta Kučera Elementary School, Jajce Elementary School and Nikola Šop Elementary School.

The focus of the activity was on strengthening ties between young people, encouraging cooperation and developing team spirit. Sports games, such as boundary line, tug-of-war, sack jumping, skipping rope, and basketball games “golden hand” and volleyball, were not only competitive, but created strong bonds between the participants.

The “Treasure Hunt” activity was particularly exciting, where young people from different schools worked together in teams. Distributed with the help of messages, the young people searched for the “treasure” together, encouraging mutual communication, planning and cooperation. The joy that prevailed when they found the “treasure” – an abundant assortment of cakes and gingerbread from Granny Kate’s pastry shop, was immeasurable.

During the moments of rest, while all the participants enjoyed sandwiches, the positive energy that came from the joint effort was felt. The certificates of appreciation received by all participants were not just a formality, but an expression of gratitude for their contribution to strengthening ties between young people.
