As part of the BIHUB III project – “Support and development of women’s green and sustainable entrepreneurship in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, a workshop for women entitled “Women’s leadership and its challenges” was held last week in the premises of the Business Center.
With the assistance of Business Center coordinator Šehzija Hozan Drek, the workshop was led by Gaia Giulianelli, who through an interactive approach and an open discussion brought the participants closer to different aspects of leadership in modern society. During the workshop, we discussed leadership in different contexts and spheres of life, and how it is developed and applied in everyday situations.

A special focus is placed on understanding leadership as a process that goes beyond classical management. The participants had the opportunity to think about ideas such as:
“Abilities to inspire and motivate others to take steps they were previously unwilling to take”
“Leadership as serving the community, not managing others”
The importance of feeling satisfied through the realization of joint success

Through joint work, key questions were also opened: what are the qualities that make us leaders, and how can we develop them in a personal and professional environment.
The workshop provided a safe space for the exchange of experiences, mutual support and empowerment of women on their way to more active participation in society and entrepreneurship.
