COD Jajce / Korona did not stop us

Although due to the corona pandemic we were forced to suspend our programs for children, youth, as well as recreational – educational programs for adults, we continued our activities online, some of which are still running in this way.

The German language is still taught to us by Simon from Hamburg every Monday and Thursday from 7 pm, where the participants progress better and better every day. Mathilda from faraway France, also on Mondays and Thursdays from 6pm teaches us the skills of yoga which shows us the way to health, relaxation, finding inner peace and balance. Yoga is not only about physical exercise, but also relaxation, concentration, proper nutrition and positive thinking. It is a way of life that helps us maintain health and achieve inner peace and contentment.

That online education is still a relatively new concept for many of us is shown by the fact that although these are programs via the Internet that could be joined by people literally all over the world, we had applications only from Jajce. But well, we’re still learning. Now that we have stepped into new methodologies of learning, recreation and entertainment, some of the programs will probably remain in online mode, and until then we believe we will have connected outside our city.

We will start online with the realization of the project “Strengthening the capacity of young people” which we are implementing in cooperation with the Heinrich Böll Stiftung, at least when it comes to May, for June we hope for personal meetings and real youth gatherings where we will organize a youth camp with our participants. and seminars and workshops where participants will have the opportunity through various methodologies to gain knowledge on topics on youth activism, leadership, feminism and human rights.

If you are reading these lines and you are interested, you can apply HERE until 15.05.2020.
