For several years, Friedenskreis Halle e.V. in cooperation with the Center for Education and Socializing, organizes long-term volunteer services. Within this area of ​​work, we offer information on international volunteer service, send volunteers abroad and host volunteers in Halle, Germany.

As an organization that receives international volunteers in Germany, we act as a coordinating organization. We accept volunteers through the German program for international volunteering called “Weltwärts”.

The volunteer service lasts 12 months and starts in mid-September, every year.

During the volunteer service, the volunteer will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge in various fields.

The international volunteer service consists of:

-Practical work in one or two jobs (30 hours per week)

-Active participation in seminars (25 days)

-Activities related to volunteer service (about 8 hours per week):

-Active participation in programs,

-Realization of own project,

-Learning German.

We are currently looking for volunteers for the period from September 2022 to September 2023.

Application period: 14.12.2021. – 31.01.2022. years.

Who can apply?

Description of the volunteer who can apply:

-18 – 28 years;

-Completed high school or college;

-Knowledge of English and readiness to learn German;

-Openness to learning;

-Willingness to volunteer to be involved in civil society after volunteer service;

-Special skills or abilities.
