BiHUB III
The Jajce Education and Social Center (Business Center Jajce) and its partners invite all interested women with a green and sustainable business idea, as well as teams and existing young companies, to register their entrepreneurial ideas for participation in a free training program and business incubator.
About the program
The program includes free training and incubation, as well as mentoring and coaching for future entrepreneurs who have a green business idea.
Support is intended for business ideas from various fields, such as:
-tourism,
-food industry,
-ecology and water protection,
-IT,
-as well as other areas related to green and sustainable business.
We are looking for ideas that have the potential to develop green business models, include green and sustainable business approaches and contribute to the development of the circular economy.
The training program will last from October 12 to November 27, 2026, and the participants will receive knowledge, information and guidance for the development and realization of their business ideas through intensive workshops, mentoring and coaching.
Training program topics
The program includes the following topics:
-Introduction to green and sustainable entrepreneurship – business idea development, entrepreneurial mindset and leadership
-Product/service development
-Opportunities in the green economy
-Green and circular business models
-Marketing and sales
-Digital skills and AI
-Legal and administrative framework of entrepreneurship in Bosnia and Herzegovina
-Accounting and finance
-Business plan and pitch
-Individual mentoring and coaching hours and group coaching
Financial support
Upon completion of the training, at the beginning of December 2026, a selection of the best green and sustainable business ideas will be organized in Jajce, Livno, Travnik and Zenica.
The participants will present developed business ideas to the expert committee.
At the local level, 4 business ideas will be selected for further development through the incubator program.
In addition to mentoring, counseling and coaching, the selected ideas will also receive a financial incentive in the amount of EUR 5,000.00 for implementation.
Who can apply?
The following can apply for the training program:
Female candidates over the age of 18 from the area of the municipality of Jajce and surrounding municipalities who have innovative green and sustainable ideas based on knowledge and want to start their own business.
Teams led by women, but not exclusively, who have innovative green and sustainable knowledge-based ideas and want to start their own business.
Start-ups, i.e. young companies, crafts or family businesses under the leadership of women, but not exclusively, which are in the initial phase of business – up to 3 years of age on the date of publication of this public call.
Companies, crafts or family businesses that want to establish a spin-off company for the purpose of expanding business relations and active participation in the exchange of technologies, experience and knowledge, and which are under the leadership of women, but not exclusively.
Who cannot apply?
The following cannot apply for the training program:
members of the Commission for evaluating business ideas,
employees in the partner organizations of the BiHUB III project,
persons with a criminal record,
political parties,
public companies and public institutions,
companies in bankruptcy.
What kind of business ideas are we looking for?
Business ideas should be:
innovative,
green and sustainable,
socially responsible,
knowledge based,
realistic and goal-oriented,
with the potential for further growth and development of new jobs,
economically viable.
Business Idea Selection Process
1. Submission of the Application Form
The public call is open from September 11 to October 2, 2026.
Candidates must complete the application form and submit all required documentation no later than October 2, 2026, by 23:59.
Candidates may apply with multiple business ideas. In such cases, each application is considered separately; therefore, a separate form must be completed and submitted for each business idea.
2. Preliminary Assessment
The Business Idea Assessment Committee will evaluate applications based on:
the administrative and technical completeness of the application form,
the completeness and validity of the required supporting documentation,
the alignment of the business idea’s concept and content with the public call.
The Committee may request additional clarifications and supplementary information, and may invite candidates to present their business ideas.
3. Business Idea Refinement – Training Program
Candidates whose applications meet the preliminary assessment criteria will participate in a training program and have the opportunity to refine and develop their business ideas with professional support from mentors and trainers.
4. Final Assessment
Upon completion of the training program, mentorship, and individual consulting, candidates will be invited to a final presentation of their business ideas.
Based on the presented business ideas and the professional opinion of the mentors, the Committee will make a final decision and select 4 business ideas/candidates to participate in the incubator program and receive financial support. How to apply?

The application form must be filled in one of the official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Required documentation
Along with the application form, it is necessary to submit:
completed application form,
Candidate’s CV in accordance with Europass standards; in the case of a team, CV for each member,
her own statement that the candidate has not been punished and that no criminal proceedings are being conducted against her,
company registration certificate, in the case of an already existing company.
Candidates can, in addition to the mandatory documentation, submit additional optional documentation that they believe can contribute to a better assessment of the business idea, such as articles, publications or other relevant documents, information and references.

In the case of electronic application, it is necessary to submit a scanned signed form, as well as an unsigned version of the Word document.

About the BiHUB III project
The training and incubation program takes place within the framework of the BiHUB III project – Support and development of women’s green and sustainable entrepreneurship in Bosnia and Herzegovina, under the leadership of the Slovenian non-governmental organization PiNA and with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia from the International Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Program of Slovenia.
The main goal of the BiHUB III project is to contribute to solving the problem of economic gender inequality and environmental protection through the development of women’s green and sustainable entrepreneurship.
The project aims to empower women in Bosnia and Herzegovina to enter the world of entrepreneurship and realize green and sustainable business ideas, as well as to organize and (self) represent women entrepreneurs and ensure women’s involvement in decision-making processes.
The project will upgrade the work of incubators in Jajce, Livno, Travnik and Zenica, and more than 400 women will be included in various support programs, education, networking, conferences and other activities.
