Last week, another excellent youth camp was completed in Klagenfurt (Austria), where our young people had the opportunity to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina. The camp lasted from 23 to 30 April and was organized by the partner organization Iniciativo Angola.
The theme of the meeting was getting to know different religions through mutual respect, acceptance and creating a safe space in which everyone can feel free.

The camp gathered young people from Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the six days of the rich program, the participants visited religious buildings, took part in interactive workshops, got to know nature, learned through excursions and presented their culture and traditions at the “Culture Bazaar”.
Our young people proudly presented Bosnian cuisine, costumes and customs. The entire program was conducted in English, which was also a great opportunity for them to improve their foreign language.

In addition to learning about other cultures, they made new friends and developed a sense of community, tolerance, and openness towards others.

We are proud that our group contributed to the excellent atmosphere of the camp with its knowledge, attitudes and energy. They returned home with new experiences, memories and inspiration – which further motivates us to do this work even better and more energetically in order to make these experiences available to everyone who wants them.
