The youth organization InitiativAngola from Klagenfurt (Austria) is offering an opportunity for one volunteer from Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of an international volunteering program.

During the volunteering period, the selected volunteer will have the opportunity to gain additional knowledge and skills in working with children and young people, improve communication and organizational skills, and improve their German language skills through everyday practical work.

InitiativAngola is a youth organization that operates at the local, national and international levels, based in Klagenfurt. The organization implements many projects focused on youth, intercultural exchange, non-formal education and social engagement.

Volunteer profile

We are looking for a motivated volunteer:

-aged from 18 to 30 years

-with residence in Bosnia and Herzegovina

-with basic experience or interest in working with children and young people

-a person ready for teamwork, learning and active participation in various projects

-basic knowledge of the German language is an advantage, but not a requirement

The main tasks of volunteers:

-Work with different target groups (children and youth)

-Participation in the planning and coordination of events (concerts, raffles, tournaments, workshops)

-Support in the promotion of activities through social networks (Facebook) and the website

-Administrative and organizational support to the organization’s team

What is provided to the volunteer

-Accommodation during the volunteering period

-Pocket money and money for food in accordance with ESC rules

-Travel expenses (in accordance with program rules)

-Health insurance

-Mentor and team support during the entire volunteering period

-The possibility of attending language and educational support

-Youthpass certificate upon completion of volunteering
