COD’s Italian volunteers contribute to the “Via delle Cascate” project in Jajce

As part of the international project “Via delle Cascate” (Waterfall Paths), which is being implemented with the support of AICS Tirana and local partners, COD Jajce is supporting the promotion of sustainable tourism in central and northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project aims to connect natural beauties and historical cities, and bring them closer to tourists, especially those from Italy.

One of COD’s most important contributions to this process comes from our Italian volunteers, who have made a significant contribution to the visibility of Jajce on the international market through their engagement.

Support in creating a promotional tourism video

In cooperation with the Jajce Agency, our volunteers are participating in the preparation of a promotional video intended for the Italian market. Their participation includes:

  • assistance in filming,
  • creating content that depicts the beauty of Jajce,
  • presenting the city through the perspective of young people from Italy, thus creating an authentic connection with the audience for whom the video is intended.

Their contribution helps to build a bridge between the two cultures and to promote Jajce as a unique destination for sustainable tourism.

Participation in the Jajce Advent

Volunteers also actively engaged in the local community through participation in the Jajce Advent, where they took part in a humanitarian action in favor of the Association Drops of Growth – Waterfall of Love.

For this occasion:

  • they prepared a delicious traditional Italian tiramisu,
  • together with high school students from Jajce, who made homemade cookies,
  • they organized a dessert sale, and all proceeds were donated to the needs of the association.
