The Center for Education and Socialization (COD Jajce) has been providing young people with a unique opportunity to study, work and improve in Germany for years. Also, the young people of Germany have the opportunity to spend a year in Jajce through the volunteer service, to get to know the beauties of Bosnia and Herzegovina, traditions and new friends.

The current hosting and sending volunteer services are coming to an end – now it’s your turn to grab your chance and spend a useful year in Germany.

The volunteer service in the city of Halle is a peace and educational service that aims to give young people the opportunity to gain experience, knowledge and skills through various spheres of volunteer service and become active in the development of peace, education of young people and active citizens of their communities.

Volunteer service lasts 12 months, starts in October every year and consists of:

– 30 hours of practical work per week

– Active participation in seminars and events, 25 days during the duration of the program.

– Activities related to volunteer service, about 8 hours a week, including realization of own projects, engagement in the social community and learning the German language.
