The Municipality of Jajce supports the work of the Business Center – the project of the Center for Education and Gathering

This year as well, the Municipality of Jajce signed a contract with the Center for Education and Gathering with the aim of supporting the “Business Center” project, which, within its goals, provides support to unemployed people from the municipality of Jajce.

“Business Center Jajce” is a project of the “Center for Education and Gathering – Jajce” created in 2016, which, in cooperation with the Municipality of Jajce, offers young people education and training of business ideas and skills and provides assistance in starting a small business.

As part of the project during 2017 and 2018, the Center for Education and Gathering made a document Social Map of Youth of the Municipality of Jajce with a significant analysis of the engaged demography expert Mirza Emirhafizović. This document presents information of crucial importance when it comes to the increase or decrease in the number of young people in Jajce, the reasons for the increasing number of people leaving Bosnia and Herzegovina and the consequences that this trend leads to.

In the spirit of empowering young people to stay and start a small business, the Business Center project offers free consulting, professional and legal assistance and regularly informs all registered unemployed persons intending to start a business about public calls for grants and coordination of the implementation of initial business projects. .

Aware of the issue of young people going to Western European countries, the Municipality of Jajce allocates significant funds every year to support and encourage young people in Jajce to establish and start a small business in order to provide prospects and a more stable economic future for young people to stay and live in their hometown.
