As part of the project “Together Stronger: The Voice of Youth for a Better BiH” implemented by the Center for Education and Socializing with the support of the Heinrich Boll Foundation, an online workshop was held last week in which young NGO activists, young political activists of SDA, HDZ and NIP as well as several councilors of the Municipal Council.
This is another in a series of projects implemented by COD with the Heinrich Boll Foundation, which lasts from 01.06. until 30.09.2021.
The project brings together young activists and politicians aged 18 to 30 to draft a policy proposal with their unique policies, views and on behalf of all whose rights are threatened by old politicians who defend and represent only their own interests.
The aim is to develop a policy proposal under the supervision of academics that contains a series of concrete recommendations for participants and policy makers related to a very specific topic (TB) closely related to the processes of democratic development in Central Bosnia.
The project successfully started with an introductory online seminar that brought together 12 young people, members of political parties and NGO activists.
The next step of the project is a two-day training seminar where participants will receive more information on writing a “policy paper” that is used as a tool in advocacy processes.
