As part of the BIHUB II project “Support for women’s green and sustainable entrepreneurship”, a meeting of the members of the “Jajce Entrepreneurs Association” was held in the premises of the “Turist 98” hotel to discuss the goals and activities of the association, as well as the needs and problems of women in entrepreneurship.

Although the Association is newly founded, over thirty entrepreneurs from the municipality of Jajce responded to the meeting and showed interest and the need for an Association of this type. The entrepreneurs expressed their willingness to support each other, to strengthen the Association, but also expressed their wish that the Municipality of Jajce recognize their work and support them in their actions and activities.

The meeting also discussed the burning problems of female entrepreneurs, such as the right to sick leave and maternity leave for women in entrepreneurship, considering that none of these rights are regulated in a way that they are suitable for business women.
The meeting discussed ways of financing the association, including the introduction of membership fees, as well as other options such as applying for public calls and projects, in order to provide funds for the organization of seminars and educational workshops that women entrepreneurs need in their activities.

On this occasion, the Business Center and the Association of Entrepreneurs invite women who have not had the opportunity to join them, to definitely do so in the coming period and strengthen women in entrepreneurship.
The meeting to acquaint the members of the association with the goals and future activities of the “Jajce Association of Entrepreneurs” is part of the BiHUB II project – an environment for supporting women’s green and sustainable entrepreneurship, which is carried out by the partners Cultural Education Society PiNA and Katapult from Slovenia, Center for Education and Socialization Jajce, Center for the education of young people Travnik and Linnovate Business Park with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia from the International Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Program of Slovenia.
