Last weekend, members of COD’s youth group MAJOK participated in the workshop “How memory is created: Youth, narratives and dialogue on the culture of memory”, organized by Oštra Nula in Banja Luka.
Through interactive workshops, young people explored how narratives about the past are created, how we learn about war and the culture of memory, and how we can build space for dialogue between young people from different communities. They paid special attention to the analysis of the way in which history and the past are presented and transmitted to new generations.

The participants also visited places of memory in Banja Luka, and through practical workshops they acquired new knowledge and skills in the creation of multimedia content.
Although the temperatures were extremely high, this did not prevent our young people from actively participating, learning, exchanging experiences and expanding their horizons.
They spent the weekend in an inspiring atmosphere, surrounded by positive people and young people from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina. In addition to new knowledge, they brought home numerous friendships that they will continue to develop at the next meeting in Mostar, which will be held from June 26 to 28.
