On the occasion of the International Day of Volunteers, COD Jajce was hanging out with his young volunteer forces, discussing the importance of volunteerism, its importance for the local environment, and the development of the personality of each person who decides to spend his free time usefully.
Our young volunteers said that they want to make positive changes in society through their volunteer engagement, and by their example influence their peers to work, do good, build their environment and think about the future, and voluntarily pick up the differences and divisions that society imposes on them and “throw it in the trash can.”
“Being a useful member of society is what fulfills and motivates us. When you are part of the positive energy that moves society for the better, it’s a wonderful feeling that cannot be paid for with money” – COD volunteers said.
On this occasion, we awarded appropriate thank-you notes to our activists, and continued the pleasant socializing with drinks, snacks and delicious cakes prepared for this occasion by our colleague Josipa Kulenović.
