As part of the project Strengthening the capacity of young people, which the Center for Education and Gathering is implementing in cooperation with the Heinrich Böll Stiftung Foundation, another workshop was held yesterday in a series with young people from Jajce.
The workshop called My First Project was led by the experienced Nestor Ruiz, a product design engineer, currently studying social work, and has been involved in activism, volunteer and professionally, and Amela Kavazbašić, a Bosnian language teacher.
On this occasion, young people had the opportunity to learn how to best implement the project and turn the idea into reality with all the items needed to make the idea come to life for the benefit of young people, the local community or even the state.
Through a series of interesting examples and interactive work, young people did their best listing examples of the local community that should and could be changed through useful and interesting projects.
The Center for Education and Socializing is a local non-governmental, non-profit and multiethnic organization that since its inception has been working and engaged in providing support to the social development of the local population, especially children and youth of Jajce – our region and the whole of BiH.
The Heinrich Böll Stiftung considers itself part of the green political current, which has developed outside the Federal Republic of Germany through the confrontation of the traditional political directions of socialism, liberalism and conservatism. Their common core values are ecology and sustainable development, democracy, human rights, self-determination and justice.
