Over the past few weeks, our association has been buzzing with new activities and initiatives!

Last week, our Italian volunteers introduced themselves to the MAJOK group by organising an Italian evening filled with traditional food, games and fun. At the same time, our international team was busy preparing new workshops and activities.

Alongside our regular German and English classes, we have also launched a new Italian language course this week! As always, our language courses are free and open to everyone, from complete beginners to advanced learners.

We are also looking forward to an exciting international experience! From 6 to 13 November, our team will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at the youth exchange “Sketch a HUMAN: Comics against Discrimination” in Halle, Germany. Young people from eight countries will come together to creatively explore the issues of hate speech and discrimination, both online and offline, through comics, memes and videos. They will also have the opportunity to develop more inclusive perspectives and learn practical strategies to challenge discrimination.

Meanwhile, our Wednesday movie nights continue, bringing inspiring stories and animated films to children and teenagers in Jajce every week!

In addition to these ongoing activities, we have started working on a new project aimed at strengthening tourism in our city. We are currently conducting research to develop initiatives that will promote local activities and businesses, highlight Jajce’s rich history and beautiful landscapes, and encourage greater community participation.

Through all these activities and initiatives, we continue to pursue our mission of promoting dialogue and creating an open, creative and participatory space for everyone in our community.

There is always something happening at COD Jajce, so don’t hesitate to drop by and join us!
