Last week, the Radio Jajc team intensively followed the work of the Center for Education and Socialization (COD), visiting various activities that bring together children and young people every day. They had the opportunity to record part of the atmosphere from the English language workshops for children, the German language course, the activities of the MAJOK youth group, as well as the children’s cinema, which once again gathered a large number of the youngest visitors.
After a tour of our activities, local and international COD volunteers were guests on the Radio Jajca program, where they presented the work of the Center for Education and Socialization, the activities of the MAJOK youth group, and shared their experiences gained through volunteering.

During the conversation, they spoke about the importance of informal education, intercultural exchange and active involvement of young people in community life. They emphasized that volunteering represents an opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills, get to know different cultures, develop friendships and personal development, but also contribute to creating a more open and connected local community.
The guest appearance was an opportunity to introduce listeners to the numerous activities that COD organizes throughout the year for children and youth, as well as the work of the youth group MAJOK, which through educational, creative and socially beneficial activities encourages young people to activism, solidarity and taking initiative in their community.
We would like to thank the Radio Jajce team for their time, visiting our activities and the opportunity to present what we are building together through a radio program.
