After the successful first part of the workshops in Banja Luka, members of COD’s youth club MAJOK participated in the second part of the program “How Memory is Created: Youth, Narratives and Dialogue on the Culture of Memory” last weekend, from June 26 to 28, 2026, organized by Oštra Nula in Mostar.

During the three-day program, our young participants had the opportunity to watch a documentary about the “Bosnian Bowie”—Samir Mehić Bowie—take part in “Living Library” workshops where they heard personal accounts from war survivors, and attend the launch of the *Invisible Children* handbook.
A special part of the program was the “Memory Walk,” during which participants explored Mostar through its history and culture of remembrance. As part of this activity, they visited the Partisan Memorial Cemetery as well as other significant sites in the city.

Although Mostar was marked by extremely high temperatures, our MAJOK members did not let this stop them from learning, exchanging experiences and socializing with their peers from different parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They returned home richer for new knowledge, valuable friendships, unforgettable memories and another confirmation of how important dialogue, understanding and mutual respect are for building a better future.
Thank you to the organization Oštra Nula for the excellently designed workshop program, as well as to OKC Abrašević for the warm hospitality and pleasant atmosphere during their stay in Mostar.
