The Center for Education and Socialization is in the process of implementing the two-year project “Support to women’s, green and sustainable entrepreneurship – BiHUB2” in cooperation with the Slovenian PINA. It is a project supported by the International Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Program of Slovenia (Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia).
This program aims to strengthen women’s entrepreneurship and represents the possibility of improving the position of women and a step towards equal participation not only in the labor market, but also in public and political life.
BiHUB2 builds on the excellent results of PINA’s previous project (BiHUB) and aims to empower women by promoting green and sustainable women’s entrepreneurship and ensuring their inclusion in decision-making processes.
The project will strengthen the work of incubators in Jajce, Livno and Travnik, through the entire program more than 400 women will be empowered through an education program, support for business ideas or start-ups, competitions in entrepreneurial ideas for young – future entrepreneurs, BiHUB camp for entrepreneurs, construction and support for women’s entrepreneurial networks, as well as conducting consultations and other advocacy campaigns.
Women will be empowered to implement green and sustainable entrepreneurship, which represents an important contribution to environmental protection, green transition and sustainable entrepreneurship and development in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
